The Men's Merchandiser partners closely with the Merchandising Manager, Design, Planning, Marketing and Sourcing teams to own and manage the development of seasonal product assortments and accuracy for a division of Southern Tide across both wholesale and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels. This individual plays a strategic, cross functional role, balancing creative direction with financial objectives, while adhering to the corporate calendar and maintaining brand consistency.
This is an in office role, in Southern Tide's downtown Greenville SC office.
Crew Position:
DTC
  • Support marketing by ensuring accuracy of ECOM imagery and product information (ADD)
  • Review and support accuracy of ECOM imagery and product details to ensure accuracy in partnership of cross functional teams
  • Assists Merchandising Manager with GWP market research, vendor communication, internal communication, costing and following calendar.

Visual Merchandising
  • Responsible for setting up and maintaining corporate showroom displays and collateral.
  • Execute monthly directives for assigned channels, including but not limited to Signature stores, department stores, and select wholesale accounts.

Visual Merchandising - DTC
  • Collaborate with Sr. Director of Retail as well as appropriate internal teams, to establish and communicate visual merchandising standards and guidelines, including initial store set-up, capacity, fixture needs, merchandise assortment, and allocation parameters. Publish clear and concise directions for display of marketing collateral in stores and provide education and training to store staff on visual standards and guidelines.
  • Conceptualize merchandise presentation and flow.
  • Research marketplace trends and integrate as appropriate.
  • Participate in stores openings as needed

Brand Events - Supporting brand events by providing mannequin looks and line assortment in partnership with Merchandising Manager.
