  • Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 per year (dependent on experience) + incentive eligible + business mileage reimbursement
  • Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 5 am start
  • Basic Requirements: Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record within company policy guidelines + reliable vehicle. Must be willing to complete onsite administrative tasks and travel throughout Boston Sales Center territory including Newton, Needham, Dedham, Brighton, Watertown, Randolph, Canton, Stoughton, Quincy, Braintree areas
  • Previous large store merchandising and/or sales experience preferred

Job Description

The Merchandising District Manager is tasked with leading the sales efforts for large store segments within a specific region. Their duties include managing and guiding a team of Merchandisers to ensure all sales programs are effectively implemented. They oversee the hiring, training, and professional development of their team, aiming to achieve revenue growth and meet sales targets through efficient execution and strong customer relationships. Reporting to the Large Store Sales Manager, the Merchandising District Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of sales initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead the Sales Center execution of Merchandising plans, ensure growth, profitability and an enhanced customer experience with Coca-Cola. 
  • Review the Large Store tracker weekly to ensure maximum execution
  • Ownership of routine merchandiser meetings, RED and LOS meetings to identify opportunities, gaps, and results
  • Regularly collaborate with Sales Manager, District Managers and General Manager to remain informed of all promotional activity
  • Achieve and maintain Look of Success standards in all accounts, communicate expectations and ensure understanding within sales organization through effective communication
  • Route Rides with Team in Market  
  • Manage OPEX results including Merchandising Labor and BD&L 
  • Foster Safety Leadership 
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer retention and loyalty
  • Coach and lead a team of merchandisers while ensuring a culture of learning and development
  • Effectively manage change and transition including implications to systems, people, process and future success.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience as an, Supervisor, Account Manager or Sales Merchandiser is preferred
  • Proven leadership ability and personnel management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Ability to analyze Merchandising hours by customer and develop the best routes
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and across teams where necessary, to develop relationships throughout the company and to work collaboratively
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization, to clearly articulate relevant ideas, opinions and information
  • Valid driver’s license, driving record within policy guidelines, and insurance that meets or exceeds company requirements
