Job description

Interns will gain hands-on experience in the professional sports industry by supporting multiple departments, including Sales, Event Operations, and Merchandise. This internship is designed to provide exposure to the daily operations of a professional sports organization while developing skills in customer service, event execution, ticket sales, retail operations, and fan engagement.
The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, customer-focused, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Interns should be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the game and event schedule.
Timeline:
  • Internship program will run from mid-September 2026 - April 2027

Essential Responsibilities:
Sales
  • Assist the Ticket Sales and Service team with lead generation, outbound calls, and customer follow-up.
  • Support season ticket member, group sales, and premium hospitality initiatives.
  • Participate in fan engagement and sales initiatives at community events.

Event Operations
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing home games, community events, and special events.
  • Help with event setup, breakdown, and logistics.
  • Support event staff and ensure operational readiness before, during, and after events.

Operations
  • Support daily front office and arena operations.
  • Help maintain storage areas, equipment, and event supplies.
  • Complete administrative projects and other operational duties as assigned.

Merchandise & Retail
  • Assist with retail operations and merchandise sales.
  • Help stock merchandise locations and maintain visual merchandising standards.
  • Process inventory shipments, organize stockrooms, and assist with inventory counts.
  • Fulfill online merchandise orders and assist with shipping.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to fans in the team store.

Qualifications
  • Students or recent graduates using the internship for college credits
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in professional sports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
