Job description

Goodwill of the Heartland's Cedar Rapids Headquarters is looking for a Visual Media Coordinator who can bring bold ideas, polished design skills and a mission-first mindset to every project. Goodwill of the Heartland’s mission is to help people reach their full potential through education, training, and the power of work.  Every flyer, photo, graphic, video and campaign created will support a nonprofit mission that opens doors, builds confidence and connects people with opportunity. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in graphic design and 1-2 years of relevant professional experience is required for the role.

In this role, you will help shape how our nonprofit brand shows up across print, digital, social, and physical signage in the retail space. You will design eye-catching marketing materials, create branded visuals for campaigns and events, support photo and video projects, maintain design consistency and help translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual communication. From donation campaigns and retail promotions to mission storytelling and community outreach, your work will help people understand who we are, what we do and why it matters. 4. Strong visual communication skills as demonstrated through a portfolio and a combination of education, training, and work experience required.
