Job description

Who We Are
Verve has created a more efficient and privacy-focused way to buy and monetize advertising. Verve is an ecosystem of demand and supply technologies fusing data, media, and technology together to deliver results and growth to both advertisers and publishers-no matter the screen or location, no matter who, what, or where a customer is. With 30 offices across the globe and with an eye on servicing forward-thinking advertising customers, Verve's solutions are trusted by more than 90 of the United States' top 100 advertisers, 4,000 publishers globally, and the world's top demand-side platforms. Learn more at verve.com.
Verve For Advertisers is a technology company that empowers brands and agencies to connect moments of discovery and drive measurable outcomes across screens.
As part of Verve, we've unified the company's demand-side offering, bringing together the largest on-site search intent dataset outside of walled gardens, direct SDK integrations with top apps, alongside data partnerships with 3M+ websites and LLMs. Our technology captures both what consumers do and why they do it, delivering high-fidelity audiences, insights, and activation across premium omnichannel inventory.
We're looking for a versatile, detail-obsessed Visual Designer to join our in-house team. You will be the engine behind our daily marketing and event initiatives, bringing our brand to life across digital channels and traditional print.
Reporting directly to the Creative Director, you'll help execute and scale Verve's visual identity across all marketing touchpoints. You are a fast-moving team-player who translates creative concepts into polished, production-ready deliverables that drive engagement and protect brand consistency.
Responsibilities Include
  • Assist with the rollout of our new visual identity in partnership with the Creative Director, ensuring a seamless transition across internal and external touchpoints.
  • Own the end-to-end design and production of print materials for key conferences and marketing events, including flyers, informational leaflets, booklets, event menus, and physical signage.
  • Manage technical print processes, coordinating with external vendors and fabricators to ensure perfect color matching and finish quality.
  • Produce dynamic digital assets for marketing campaigns, including event landing page designs, social media graphics (such as attendee-shareable LinkedIn posts), email banners, and digital invitations for exclusive event dinners.
  • Systematize and expand the centralized brand library to streamline asset discovery and cross-functional design alignment across both Adobe and Figma environments.

Here are a few indicators that you're the right person
  • You're a technical perfectionist with an eye for precision, ensuring that every bleed, trim mark, and margin is mathematically sound and print-ready.
  • You bridge the physical and digital divide: You are equally comfortable setting up a multi-page print booklet in InDesign as you are building a responsive landing page layout in Figma.
  • You're a translator of complexity who can digest dense technical workflows and spatial requirements, turning them into elegant designs and intuitive physical environments.
  • You're a workflow innovator and proactively find time-saving efficiencies. You create templates, streamline production, and take the initiative to optimize how the design and marketing teams collaborate so output scales effortlessly.
  • You're highly organized and enjoy balancing multiple types of deliverables simultaneously, moving from a press release layout to an animated email banner without missing a beat.
  • You own your projects and confidently brainstorm ideas, present concepts to stakeholders, and lead the tactical discussions needed to launch large-scale marketing projects.
  • You can transition from static layouts to motion graphics. You are a creative brainstormer who knows how to use basic animation to level up promotional banners, event screen graphics, social video posts, email GIFs, and dynamic digital ads.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in an in-house position, working alongside Marketing teams.
  • A versatile portfolio demonstrating strong layout, typography, and hierarchy skills across both digital marketing assets and technical print pieces.
  • Proven project ownership, with the ability to take a marketing brief from initial concept to final, polished delivery.

Design skills
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign (for layout), Illustrator (for large format), and Photoshop (for high-end retouching).
  • Advanced knowledge of print production: pre-flighting, color separation, and vendor handoff protocols.
  • High proficiency in Figma for asset management and collaborative digital production.
  • Experience creating dynamic motion assets and basic video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Jitter, Figma's animation features or similar).

Bonus points
  • Advanced video creation and editing skills.
  • Experiential design experience and knowledge of 3D mockup tools (Adobe Dimension, SketchUp or similar).
  • Experience with AI and generative tools as a lever for efficiency in a modern production workflow.

Some company benefits include
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus mental health resources
  • 401(k) match and generous PTO
  • Hybrid work environment (NYC office)
  • Free lunch for onsite team members in NYC
  • Volunteer Opportunities
  • Opportunities for professional development in a high-growth ad tech company

Greater NY-area Residents: We currently have a hybrid remote work policy. All Verve For Advertisers employees living within a 90-minute (one way) commute of our NYC office are expected to be in the office three days per week.
We're open to allowing the right person to learn our industry on the job. We welcome diversity and non-traditional paths into all of our roles. We believe in hiring the right person as opposed to the right combination of keywords.
