TE Connectivity in El Paso, TX is looking for a Logistics Supervisor. TEOA (Continuous Improvement) Program Execution - Lead and support the implementation of TEOA methodologies such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and Kaizen. Coordinate workshops, coach teams on lean thinking, and support daily Gemba walks with metrics and visual controls. Drive initiatives to improve DC flow, reduce waste, and optimize receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, etc. and distribution strategies. Provide a structured framework for identifying inefficiencies, aligning stakeholder goals, and deploying sustainable lean strategies. Quality Control & Assurance - Monitor and improve inspections in DC operations to meet quality standards. Develop and maintain SAP-based inspection plans and perform or support MRB (Material Review Board) activities as required. Train DC operations and QC sorters personnel in updated procedures and quality standards. Apply statistical tools and product analysis to ensure incoming and outgoing products meet all requirements. Data Analysis & Metrics Development - Analyze operational and quality data to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement. Present visual dashboards such as Power Bi, Tableau software and written reports to leadership teams with corrective/preventive action (CAPA) plans. Support systems modeling and simulations to predict the impact of process changes. Follow up with ideas and present data-driven improvement opportunities. Quality Auditing and Compliance - Perform internal audits of quality systems, self-inspections, and process adherence checks across the DC. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to close audit findings and update documentation. Ensure process traceability and compliance with both internal and external quality standards. Cross-Functional Project Support - Support management and operations teams in cross-functional improvement initiatives. Prioritize and manage multiple project tasks aligned with operational KPIs and customer satisfaction.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 1 year of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.
Special Requirements: Requires 1 year of experience with the following:
  1. EHS - environmental, health and safety plans.
  2. Presenting data/information to inform operational decisions, track performance, and report to stakeholders.
  3. Problem solving techniques and decision making.
  4. Training focused on 8D (Eight Disciplines) and Practical Problem-Solving Report (PPSR).
  5. Knowledge of customer portals, such as Ford, General Motors (GM), Stellantis (FCA - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles), etc.
  6. Knowledge and application of IATF 16949 standards for continuous improvement and defect prevention.
  7. Automotive quality core tools, such as PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), CP (Control Plan), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
  8. Providing formal response to customer complaints.
