Job description

Audio Visual Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Audio Visual Technician to join our company. In this role, you will install, set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain audio visual equipment to ensure a seamless experience for clients.

Responsibilities:
  • ย Install AV equipment including: microphones, speakers, projectors, displays, cameras, and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and professionally.
  • Maintain AV inventory, organize projects and assist with design process, and have a voice in the evolution of our products and services.
  • Follow safety procedures and ensure equipment is used properly.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, 2 year associates degree, technical training or certifications preferred.
  • Experience working with audio visual equipment in events, corporate, education, hospitality, or venue settings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and transport AV equipment as needed.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or early mornings when required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of signal flow, adapters, cabling, and AV connectivity.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with digital mixers, video conferencing systems, control panels, and switching equipment.
  • Knowledge of common AV software and presentation platforms.
  • CTS certification or similar AV credentials.
