Job Overview

The Visual Manager - Flagship Windows conceptualizes, designs, and executes visually compelling window displays that attract customers, strengthen brand identity, and drive foot traffic and sales. The role blends creativity, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution to ensure all storefront presentations align with the brand’s vision and seasonal campaigns.

What You Will Do

  • Design and execute innovative window displays that reflect current campaigns, promotions, and brand aesthetics.
  • Partner with marketing, merchandising, retail, corporate partners, and flagship in-store teams to align visual storytelling with business objectives.
  • Create display concepts, sketches, and mood boards for seasonal and promotional initiatives.
  • Oversee the installation, upkeep, and refresh of window displays across store locations.
  • Source props, materials, and décor elements while adhering to budget guidelines.
  • Maintain consistent visual standards and brand presentation across all storefronts.
  • Evaluate customer engagement and sales performance tied to window displays.
  • Train, coach, and develop in-store visual teams on execution standards and best practices.
  • Stay current on industry trends in visual merchandising and retail design.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities. 
  • In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.

Skills You Will Need

Creative Direction & Visual Storytelling: Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and translate brand strategy, seasonal campaigns, and business objectives into compelling, visually engaging window displays that drive customer interest and foot traffic.

Visual Design & Spatial Composition: Strong expertise in visual composition, spatial design, and aesthetic execution, ensuring window displays are impactful, balanced, and brand‑aligned across flagship storefronts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to partner effectively with marketing, merchandising, retail, corporate partners, and in-store teams to align visual storytelling with broader business and promotional objectives.

Design & Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or similar) to develop concepts, sketches, and mood boards that bring creative ideas to life.

Project & Operational Management: Strong project management skills, including managing timelines, installations, refresh cycles, and multiple workstreams while meeting tight deadlines and seasonal demands.

Budget & Resource Management: Ability to source props, materials, and décor elements within budget guidelines while delivering high-impact visual results.

People & Talent Development: Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and develop in-store visual teams, reinforcing execution standards, best practices, and creative excellence.

Adaptability & Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the flexibility to adjust designs and execution plans in response to changing priorities, constraints, or market conditions.

Who You Are

  • Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. 
  • 5+ years of experience in visual merchandising, with a focus on window displays.
  • This position requires heavy lifting, constant moving, remaining in a stationary position, and reaching with arms and hands. Involves remaining in a stationary position for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 30 lbs. stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. May involve reaching above eye level. Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on department and company needs.
  • Able to travel for multi-location oversight.
