Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the Director of the Conservatory and the Dean of Arts, Conservatory Teachers plan, develop, organize, and implement a comprehensive educational program for students in the skills of their specified art discipline, create a supportive and flexible learning environment to nurture each student's personal growth, and collaborate with colleagues to reflect on and refine instructional practice.

The OCSA Visual Arts conservatory is looking to fill the following teaching position(s). The Digital Photography course provides a comprehensive introduction to digital photography, including camera operation, composition, image capture, and post-production editing using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Students work with Canon EOS Rebel cameras and create photographic projects both on campus and during supervised local walking field trips.

The ideal instructor will have proficiency in Photoshop and Lightroom, a strong foundation in digital photography, and a willingness to incorporate local walking excursions that provide meaningful photographic opportunities. The instructor should be passionate about helping students develop both the technical skills and creative confidence necessary to take a project from initial concept through final edited image. All instructional materials and equipment are provided by the OCSA Visual Arts Program.

Enrollment is limited to 18 students to ensure individualized instruction and support. A course syllabus and curriculum framework can be provided; however, instructors are encouraged to bring their own creative perspective, professional experience, and instructional ideas to enhance and enrich the learning experience.
