Job description

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Design Ownership: Create comprehensive design deliverables and engineering specs that move concepts into production — from early concept exploration and user flows through high-fidelity, production‑ready mocks and visual assets.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the broader UX team (Design, Research, Content) and cross‑functional partners (PM, Engineering, Marketing) to develop delightful, future‑facing experiences that meet real user needs.

Design Rationale & Storytelling: Present designs to stakeholders with clear, compelling articulation of design rationale, translating ideas into sharp visual narratives that drive alignment.

Required Qualifications

BA/BS in Design (interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial) or HCI, or equivalent practical experience.

7+ years of experience in product design or UX/UI design.

Strong command of user‑centered design methodologies and usability principles.

Strong, clean visual design sense paired with obsessive attention to detail.

Understanding of user research techniques and how to apply them to design problem‑solving.

Demonstrated experience partnering with designers, researchers, content strategists, PMs, and engineers, with a deep understanding of the design‑to‑engineering handoff process.

Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual narratives.

Proficiency with Figma and other design tools.

Experience in the consumer product space, ideally within the Creator ecosystem.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with content creators or within social media/search platforms.

Experience in branding and crafting a holistic visual design language.

Experience contributing to the documentation or architecture of a Design System.

Demonstrated ability to drive alignment across engineering and product disciplines through exceptional storytelling and presence.

Advanced proficiency in Figma, with strong ability to leverage AI to accelerate design workflows.

Ability to distill complex UX research into sharp, actionable, and futuristic visual strategies.
