IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for Visual Basic 6.00 developer to join our customer in Phoenix AZ. This is an ONSITE position. The candidate will be assist with design, creation and implementation of software components to be used as the foundation for future Agency applications.

Job Description

Work as a team member in the support and development of agency business applications developed using Visual Basic 6, C#, VB.Net, Classic ASP and ASP.Net

Collaborate within a team environment to validate design concepts and define project-specific technical requirements

Create and maintain detailed documentation including business requirements, analysis, test case scenarios, and migration procedures

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology required

5 or more years' practical work experience in application program development

Expert level is required in Visual Basic 6, Classic ASP, COM, COM+, XML, XLST, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Views in SQL Server 2008 RS

Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming with C#, Visual Studio 2008/2010, SQL Server Management Studio 2008

Strong knowledge of development and implementation of ASP.NET and Windows Forms applications

Strong abilities in requirements gathering, analysis, and specification procedures

Demonstrated proficiency in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, IIS is highly preferred

Demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript, XML, XSL, HTML, DHTML, and CSS is preferred

Demonstrated proficiency in SSIS, SSRS, WCF, and WebServices is highly preferred

Proficiency in ADO.NET, TSQL, and Database design is preferred

Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities

Working knowledge of Team Foundation Services 2012 is preferred

Demonstrated ability to use discretion and make sound decisions

Ability to excel in a collaborative and distributed team environment

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of employees ranging from entry level to senior leadership

Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and shift priorities quickly

Proven strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong aspiration to learn new technologies

Proven strong relationship-building and communication skills with team members and business users

Ability to maintain confidentiality
