Location: Chandler, AZ Salary: $43.00 USD Hourly - $46.00 USD Hourly Description:
UX Designer / Product Designer
We are not accepting C2C or 1099 arrangements.
Location: Chandler, AZ (Eligible locations also include Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; and potentially Los Angeles, CA)
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience using industry-standard design tools, including Figma.
  • Experience designing digital products and improving user experiences through data-informed design decisions.
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams that include Product Management, Engineering, Research, and other stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate design concepts, rationale, and solutions effectively to a diverse range of stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, executives, and customers.
  • Experience navigating ambiguity, defining problem spaces, and independently driving projects from concept through execution.
  • Experience working within established design systems and understanding when to extend or evolve system standards to meet user and business needs.
  • Strong skills in information architecture, user flows, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity visual design, and interaction design specifications.
  • Knowledge of user-centered design methodologies and the ability to select the most effective design artifacts to communicate ideas and requirements.
  • Experience working in Agile product development environments with iterative design and delivery processes.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks such as React, JavaScript, or similar web application frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, build alignment, and foster collaboration.
  • Proven ability to energize teams through inclusion, curiosity, innovation, and a strong user-focus.
Responsibilities
  • Design intuitive, user-centered experiences that address customer needs and business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver impactful product solutions.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions, measure outcomes, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Create and maintain design deliverables including information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and interaction specifications.
  • Contribute to and help evolve design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.
  • Participate in strategic planning and product discovery activities to help shape product vision and roadmap.
  • Advocate for users throughout the product development lifecycle and champion design excellence across teams.
  • Lead through influence, fostering strong partnerships and promoting a collaborative, inclusive design culture.
