To thrive as a Visual Design Manager, you need expertise in visual design principles, brand strategy, and leadership, typically supported by a degree in design or a related field and relevant management experience. Proficiency with industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and project management tools is essential.
