Berg Hospitality Group is seeking a creative, highly organized Social Media Manager & Content Creator to oversee content and day-to-day social media management for multiple restaurant and hospitality brands.


Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, this role will manage the full social media process-from planning and production to publishing, engagement, and reporting.


This Houston-based position requires reliable transportation and regular travel to restaurant locations, events, and photo shoots.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage monthly content calendars aligned with company priorities, promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns
  • Create content strategies tailored to each concept’s distinct brand voice and visual identity 
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Culinary, Private Events and restaurant teams to identify content opportunities 
  • Capture and edit photography, short-form video, interviews, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content featuring food, beverages, interiors, team members, events, and guest experiences
  • Produce platform-specific reels, stories, carousels, graphics and written posts
  • Write concise, compelling copy tailored to each brand and platform
  • Coordinate professional photography and videography, including creative briefs and shot lists 
  • Maintain an organized library of photography, video, and brand assets 
  • Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms 
  • Provide live social media coverage for select events and activations
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, tags and guest inquiries in a timely, professional and on-brand manner
  • Engage with followers, partners, influencers and community accounts to strengthen relationships and expand reach
  • Monitor trends and test new formats, creative approaches and publishing strategies 
  • Track growth, engagement, reach, traffic and campaign results and provide concise monthly reports 
  • Use performance insights to continually refine content strategies 
  • Support paid social media campaigns and budget management, with guidance
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media or a related field, or equivalent experience 
  • Two or more years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing 
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong short-form video, photography, editing, and storytelling skills 
  • Experience managing Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn 
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, analytics, and best practices 
  • Proficiency with tools such as CapCut, Edits, Lightroom, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Excellent copywriting, communication, and organizational skills 
  • Ability to create distinct content for multiple brands while managing competing deadlines 
  • Friendly, professional, and collaborative approach 
  • Must live in the Houston area and have reliable transportation 
  • Availability to occasionally work nights and weekends for events or timely coverage
