Job description

Grassroots Analytics is looking for a Graphic Design Intern for the Fall Semester who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced marketing and design environment. This role is perfect for a creative, detail-oriented designer who enjoys solving visual problems quickly, thrives under tight deadlines, and has an interest in digital marketing, SEO, and website design.

As a member of our in-house creative team, you'll work alongside the Art Director and Marketing team to create compelling visual assets that support fundraising campaigns, product marketing, digital advertising, and company branding. You'll also help optimize website content for search visibility and contribute to maintaining a strong, consistent online presence.

This internship offers exposure to a wide variety of creative projects, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a diverse portfolio while learning how design directly impacts marketing performance.

ResponsibilitiesGraphic Design & Creative Production (40%)
  • Design digital marketing assets including social media graphics, email banners, presentations, advertisements, and website visuals.
  • Support rapid-turnaround design requests while maintaining high design standards.
  • Prepare production-ready files for digital and print projects.
  • Maintain consistency across all brand touchpoints using established brand guidelines.

Website & SEO Support (30%)

  • Assist with updating website pages in Wix Studio.

This internship pays $20/hr. The program will run September 8, 2026 to November 20, 2026. This is a full-time, in-office position based in our Chinatown office at 806 7th St NW, Washington, DC 20001.
