Summary

Job Description:

PRN Requirements:

Required to work a minimum of one 12-hour shift per week (6:15a-6:45p)

Required to work 3 Holidays a year

Required to work a minimum of 1 weekend a month

Must be able to commit to two consecutive weeks of training (3 full shifts per week = 6 shifts total)

Food and Nutrition Services

Food & Nutrition Services offers nourishing meals to patients, visitors, and Baptist Health Louisville employees.
The department has about 120 employees and operates 24-hours a day/seven days a week. It provides great employment opportunities for growth and development within the department and hospital.
Food & Nutrition Services can be a stepping stone to careers in healthcare. Employees may take advantage of tuition reimbursement opportunities and become medical professionals. Responsibilities

Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, e.g., menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick up, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Must be able to read and write.

Must have ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Neat appearance / excellent hygiene.

Excellent customer relation skills.

Excellent communication skills required.

Fluent in written and spoken English.
