Bastian Solutions is hiring a Vision Systems Engineer to design and deploy machine vision solutions for warehouse automation projects in Southern California. You will select and configure cameras, design lighting solutions, develop inspection algorithms using Cognex VisionPro and In-Sight platforms, and integrate vision systems with PLCs and robot controllers.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of machine vision engineering experience
  • Proficiency with Cognex VisionPro, In-Sight, or similar vision platforms
  • Experience with barcode reading, OCR, and dimensional measurement applications
  • Understanding of camera optics, lighting techniques, and image processing
  • PLC integration skills for passing inspection results to automation systems
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
