Our team in Space and Defense - Power & Data is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to join them. You will report to the Electrical Engineering Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia.
To be considered for the Electronics Design Engineer, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree and 3 years of electronics hardware design and development experience.
  • Experience designing PCB boards involving microprocessors and data communication.

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Familiarity with optical systems and design.
  • Control systems analysis and design.

As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will:
Be responsible for development of new technology, products, and processes to meet cost, schedule and performance goals. You will work with high-level personnel from Moog, our customers, and vendors.
  • Design electronics hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials.
  • Conduct electronics hardware level integration and test.
  • Support multiple aspects of technical project planning, including designs, proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and technical interface meetings throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Ensure traceability between customer requirements and system requirements.
  • Develop engineering test requirements and unit/subsystem/system test plans.
  • Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its creative technical reputation.

Salary Range Transparency:
Blacksburg, VA $85,000.00-$105,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
