Position Summary Information
Position Summary
This role serves as a key member of the Office of Admissions team, responsible for managing the operational workflow and admissions technology systems. This position ensures that all back-end processes and tools support a seamless, accurate, and efficient experience for prospective students, staff, and campus stakeholders. The coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity, improving system functionality, and supporting strategic enrollment initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibility:
The coordinator does not supervise employees but is responsible for training, selecting and evaluating the activities of several student workers. As well as provide guidance and training to temporary employees.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Three years' experience coordinating and supervising students. Experience is defined as responsibilities including hiring, scheduling, assigning and monitoring work, and performance review.
- Familiarity with Colleague and CRM platforms
- Demonstrated ability to be highly organized and detail oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to create statistical reports using software systems.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to interact with faculty, staff, and students with tact and courtesy.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to interact with faculty, staff, and students with tact and courtesy.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with peers.
- Ability to defuse tense situations and serve agitated customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work successfully in a high stress environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously and independently.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to troubleshoot computer and related software problems.
- Ability to work with accuracy.

Additional Desirable Qualifications
1. Previous work experience in a community college setting.
2. Experience with Ellucian Colleague
3. Knowledge of state reporting requirements and enrollment compliance
4. International Student Visa Processing
5. Ability to document and train on processes
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
With or without accommodation, the employee needs to move about and sit up to one-third to two-thirds
of the time. Must be able to work at a desk for long periods of time and constantly operate a computer workstation and telephone. Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information both in person, over the telephone and through electronic media with a variety of people each day. It is also essential to occasionally transport up to 20 pounds.
The minimum language skills necessary for this position include the ability to read and communicate effectively with students and employees of the organization.
The minimum mathematical skills necessary for this position include the ability to calculate figures and amounts.
Work Schedule
Full time, 40 hours per week/52 weeks. Must be able to work weekends and evenings occasionally as required. Some local travel may be required.
