About You
You'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious paꢀents. Your
life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and
performing laboratory tests, to support services including admittng and discharging patients.
The success of your patients' care matters to you, and your success matters to us.
Your Experience & Skills
  • Veterinary technician licensure preferred but not required
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology
  • program preferred; or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that
  • provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

About The Hospital
Preston Animal Hospital is a small animal general practice located in Morrisville, NC focusing on routine
pet care, surgery and dentistry. Our hospital has a warm working environment and a high-end client
base. We pride ourselves on excellent client communication and education. Dependability, work ethic
and desire to grow are all equally important.
We are open Mon- Fri 7:30am to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 1pm, serving the Morrisville and Cary
NC area .
You're Willing And Able To
  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients
  • Draw blood samples using proper techniques
  • Place IV catheters
  • Take x-rays
  • Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize producꢀvity and maintain posiꢀve
  • patient flow

Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with your state's Veterinary Pracꢀce Act
outlined for credenꢀaled veterinary technicians
  • Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice
  • system s
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized
  • treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs
  • Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $16 -
