• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental and emotional health, identifying issues and setting treatment goals tailored to each individual's needs.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized treatment plans, adjusting them based on clients' progress and feedback to maximize therapeutic effectiveness.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions addressing a broad spectrum of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

• Provide couples counseling designed to improve communication patterns, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relational dynamics.

• Maintain meticulous client records, ensuring timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes that comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, engaging with healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach in client care.

• Remain up-to-date with advancements in marriage and family therapy practices through continuous professional development and engagement with relevant research.

• Participate in crisis intervention protocols, providing immediate support for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.

• Foster a supportive and secure atmosphere during virtual therapy sessions, advocating for the well-being and rights of clients while maintaining confidentiality.

Our client base ranges from adolescents and young adults to mature couples, each grappling with unique challenges. You will be working with individuals facing anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. The diversity of our clientele necessitates a versatile therapeutic approach, allowing therapists to specialize or diversify their skills as per their interests and expertise.

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.

• Active LMFT licensure through the State Board, validating your expertise and commitment to the standards of practice.

• Demonstrated experience of at least two years providing individual and couples therapy, coupled with familiarity working with various age groups, including children and adults.

• Excellent writing and communication skills essential for accurate and timely completion of documentation, enhancing client care through effective therapy methods.

Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems would be advantageous, allowing for efficient documentation and management of client information. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is preferred to ensure proficient service delivery in a virtual environment.
