Sharing Light Therapy, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. As a key member of our organization, you will provide virtual therapy to individuals navigating a range of mental health challenges. This fully remote role allows for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

• Provide high-quality virtual counseling tailored to the individual needs of clients grappling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized coping strategies that promote resilience and personal growth.
• Create a supportive and trusting therapeutic environment that encourages open communication and self-exploration.
• Utilize best practices in evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide clients toward effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and organizational protocols.
• Participate in regular telehealth team meetings to discuss cases, share resources, and support team cohesion.

Your work will primarily involve engaging with a diverse client base, including adults seeking support for various mental health challenges. Embracing cultural competence and sensitivity is essential as you work to understand and address the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
• Proficiency in conducting therapeutic sessions using digital platforms, with a comfortable understanding of telehealth tools and software.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Experience working with specific populations, such as adolescents, families, or the LGBTQ+ community, is a plus.
• Familiarity with insurance and billing processes as they relate to teletherapy.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
