West Valley Psychotherapy Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) to join our dynamic outpatient team. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate clients’ schedules and needs.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs, histories, and treatment goals, establishing groundwork for individualized care.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, and families using frameworks such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that not only address prevalent mental health issues but also foster community among participants.
• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists to coordinate care, ensuring a holistic approach to each client's well-being.
• Deliver crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during critical mental health emergencies through a well-defined emergency response protocol.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and community resources using clear communication tailored to their understanding.
• Maintain accurate and secure electronic health records, complying with legal standards and safeguarding patient confidentiality.
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions to enhance your practice and contribute to our evolving care strategies.
• Stay informed of the latest research and therapeutic advancements to continuously improve treatment modalities and enhance patient outcomes.

Your role will involve working with a diverse population of clients facing a broad spectrum of mental health conditions. You will engage with individuals at different life stages, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, providing tailored services to meet their unique mental health challenges. Your contributions will be pivotal in guiding clients through their healing journeys.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various mental health disorders and interventions, alongside broad familiarity with therapeutic techniques.
• Proven track record in conducting effective mental health assessments and creating robust treatment plans.
• Experience in providing individual and group therapy in populations that reflect diversity in age, culture, and socioeconomic status.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering an engaging and supportive therapeutic environment.
• Strong ethical framework and professional boundaries, coupled with sound judgment in clinical practice.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with digital communication platforms.
• Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team and coordinate care effectively.

• Familiarity with community resources and local mental health services to further assist clients beyond therapy sessions.
• Previous experience facilitating group therapy sessions or workshops focused on specific mental health themes.
• Participation in ongoing professional development, including workshops, conferences, and training programs related to mental health practice.
