Job description

JOB SUMMARY: Develop, maintain and expand custom developed ServiceNow scoped applications utilizing the Now Platform with focused on App Dev Engine. This will include front and back end components connected to a blended technology stack and also focus on interconnecting ServiceNow applications/functions into other ServiceNow applications as well as legacy systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver high-quality consulting services to install, configure, and integrate software products from ServiceNow
  • Develop custom software / scoped applications and solutions as required through scripting and software development using App Engine + Flow Designer
  • Prepare technical documentation as specified in customer contracts and as internally required
  • Write/create custom business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, ACL's, data policies, UI scripts
  • Troubleshoot basic configuration/script issues
  • Attend requirements review and validation sessions as required
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build on current platform knowledge by learning new modules and broadening skillset
  • Maintain current certifications, keep up to date on all Delta releases
  • Support the development and growth of the scoped applications
  • Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
  • Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
  • Identifies and reports suspicious activity.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
  • BA/BS Degree education preferred

Experience
  • 2-4 years developing scoped applications on the ServiceNow platform
  • Strong working knowledge with configuration and customization of solutions in one (1) or more of the following specializations:
  • ServiceNow Mainline solutions/Application(s) (ITSM, ITBM, CSM, HR, ITOM, etc)
  • Service Portal (HTML, CSS, AngularJS, SASS, Bootstrap)
  • Experience with the NOW Mobile applications and Mobile studio for both android and iOS devices
  • Experience with Virtual Agent implementations and understanding of NLU (Natural Language Understanding) and NLP (Natural Language Processing)
  • Experience with 3rd Party Integrations Development (Connectors, REST, SOAP, MID Servers, etc)
  • Experience with SSO (Single-Sign-On) and MFA (Multi-Factor-Authentications) solutions like OKTA, Microsoft Azure AD
  • Strong working experience with JavaScript and ServiceNow JavaScript API's
  • Working proficiency in the following skills are encouraged:
  • Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge
  • Experience with ServiceNow development methodology and the Now Platform including AppDev Engine, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Mobile Studio, and Automated Test Framework
  • Practical knowledge or experience with Operating Systems (Linux, Windows)
  • Experience in multiple application architectures and supporting technologies
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PERL, JavaScript, Python, and Shell
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps preferred
  • Knowledge in ITIL foundations with the ability to relate concepts to implementation strategies

Licenses and Certifications
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator required
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer required
  • ServiceNow Mainline Implementation Certification (ITSM, CSM, HR) preferred
  • ITIL v3 or v4 Certification preferred
