Job description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented AI Developer to design, develop, and implement AI and machine learning solutions that optimize our insurance operations and support franchise growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in building AI-driven applications, data analytics, and automation systems within fast-paced business environments.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models to support underwriting, claims processing, risk assessment, and customer service automation.
  • Analyze large datasets from insurance operations and franchise partners to identify patterns, trends, and areas for optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and franchise stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into AI solutions.
  • Develop chatbots, recommendation engines, predictive models, and other AI-driven tools to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Ensure AI solutions comply with regulatory requirements and maintain data privacy and security standards.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and optimize AI model performance over time.
  • Document AI systems, processes, and best practices for internal use and franchise replication.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.
  • Proven experience in AI/ML development, preferably in financial services, insurance, or logistics.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and data privacy in insurance or financial sectors is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical solutions for business and franchise stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with NLP (chatbots, document processing).
  • Knowledge of insurance-specific datasets, risk modeling, or claims analysis.
  • Familiarity with scaling technology solutions for franchise operations
  • Strong experience in Large Language Models, Artificial Intelligence, and other novel technologies
  • Experience in IT for Insurance operations preferably on the Agency side
  • Familiarity with agency management systems (Salesforce, Now Certs, or Similar)
  • Familiarity with Accounting Systems (Quick Books, Sage, Salesforce, or similar)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Continually required to sit for extended periods.
  • Required on site- this is not a remote eligible position.
  • Office-based with standard business hours.
  • Occasional extended hours during IT issues or operational rollouts.
  • Limited travel required for vendor, carrier, or regulatory meetings

Standard business work hours are from 9am-6pm.
