  • OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift
  • Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION:

  • Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
  • Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels

  • # Beds: 2 South: 18 beds; 3 South: 22 Beds
  • Nurse: Patient Ratios: Days 1:5, Nights 1:5-6.
  • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; PALS preferred
  • Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Medical Acute (pneumonia, heart failure, sepsis, copd, urologic, surgical, total joints, General surgery, occasional pediatric respiratory illness
  • Experience or 'Must have' skills: At least 2 years of experience is preferred, prefer previous travel experience
Teamwork, communication with PCT (3x day touchpoint) focus on nursing care such as foley care, CHG bathing and oral cares. Oversight and collaboration with PCT to ensure cares are performed. Touchpoints should also include plan of care
