Job description

A great schoolNashua, NH has a full-time School Nurse (RN) opening for school position beginning ASAP late January/early February. Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

This is a 1:1 model school nursing position (Critical Care) for the current school year in a school working with one student in the throughout the day. This position may require riding the bus to and from the school each day with the student. Transportation time is paid.

Other Key Responsibilities of the School Nurse (RN):

  • Provides First aid treatment for students and staff.
  • Trains school personnel on First Aid, CPR, and the use of the AED.
  • Dispenses medication.
  • Manages electronic and paper health records.
  • Assumes responsibility for the referral of students in need of medical care
  • Implements DoH (Department of Health) policies and protocols.

Key Requirements of the School Nurse (RN):

  • Valid or eligible to receive New Hampshire state nursing license
  • First Aid and CPR certified (Instructor certification preferred)
