What You'll Do
As a Retail Experience Coach, you'll serve as a trusted advisor and performance partner for Hyundai dealerships, helping teams deliver exceptional customer experiences and maximize their potential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, in-dealership coaching and training focused on:
  • Hyundai products and technologies
  • Retail sales effectiveness
  • Customer experience excellence
  • Consultation and sales process execution
  • Coach and develop front-line dealership personnel to meet and exceed Hyundai Retail Experience standards.
  • Inspire dealership teams through hands-on learning experiences that drive measurable performance improvements.
  • Identify, document, and share best practices that contribute to dealership success and operational excellence.
  • Partner with regional and national Hyundai leadership teams to align coaching initiatives with strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate virtual training sessions, product launches, workshops, and large-group presentations.
  • Support new vehicle launches by ensuring dealership personnel are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to succeed.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends through ongoing product knowledge development and competitive analysis.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, scheduling, attendance records, and expense documentation in accordance with program standards.

Qualifications
Required
  • 3+ years of automotive retail sales, training, coaching, or related dealership experience.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Passion for automotive products, technology, and customer experience excellence.
  • Proven ability to build trust and cultivate strong relationships with dealership personnel and leadership.
  • Excellent organizational, scheduling, and time management skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency and comfort with virtual training platforms.
  • Professional presence and exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned region (up to 80%), including frequent overnight travel.
  • High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or military service equivalent) with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience delivering dealership training, coaching, or performance consulting.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change and help transform dealership culture.
