Rivendell Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas is looking for an Admissions and Referral Registered Nurse (RN). This position is very imperative to our success at Rivendell. The position requires one to handle a multitude of situations and patient populations, as well as being able to communicate effectively and efficiently with referral sources. The Admissions and Referral Registered Nurse (RN) renders professional nursing care to patients within the assessment and admission process. Practices ongoing patient assessment through observation of physical and behavioral symptomatology. Documents all data accurately in a timely manner. Participates in formulation of individual care plans for all patients and implements plan according to hospital policy. Communicates pertinent data to other service areas as needed. Encompasses responsibilities delegated to A & R representatives as regularly needed.
The Registered Nurse (RN) operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Rules and Regulations of Registered Nurses outlined by the Arkansas Board of Nursing and according to agency operating policies, protocols, and standards.

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Must have 1 Year of Assessment & Referral experience in behavioral health setting.
  • Must hold AR RN license or be license eligible.
  • CPR and Handle with Care/Verbal De-escalation offered upon hire. Mandatory certifications.
  • Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with patients, families, visitors and staff.
  • Must be able to work as a team with all staff/coworkers and maintain the ability to treat all patients with respect.
