• Conduct comprehensive assessments and thorough screenings to ascertain clients' substance abuse problems, mental health histories, and specific treatment needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that effectively address both addiction and any underlying mental health issues, using collaborative techniques.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and more.
• Work closely with other professionals on the treatment team, including physicians and nursing staff, to ensure clients receive integrated care and support.
• Provide education and support resources to family members of clients, enhancing their understanding and involvement in the recovery process.
• Maintain thorough and confidential records of client interactions and treatments while complying with all regulatory and ethical standards.

Your role primarily focuses on clients dealing with various mental health challenges, with a particular emphasis on individuals struggling with substance abuse. You will be aiding these clients through tailored therapy strategies and facilitating their journey towards recovery, helping them achieve a better quality of life and foster long-term sobriety.

• A current and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field. A master’s degree or doctoral degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and specialized training in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment methodologies.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating both substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Outstanding therapeutic and counseling skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and motivate clients through their recovery journey.
• Strong communication abilities and teamwork skills that foster effective collaboration within the treatment team.

• Previous experience in a substance abuse treatment facility or mental health setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and conducting virtual therapy sessions effectively.
• Training and experience in additional specialty areas such as trauma-informed care or family therapy.
