• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the specific needs of clients, fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout their treatment plans, making adjustments as needed to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, and other specialists, to create comprehensive and effective intervention plans.
• Coordinate care for clients who may require hospitalization by following up with attending physicians to ensure continuity in treatment.
• Identify barriers to recovery related to clients' behaviors, providing guidance and strategies to navigate these challenges effectively.
• Engage with family members and primary caregivers to provide support and resources for managing behavioral challenges at home.

Our client base comprises a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families, each facing unique challenges related to mental health. The successful counselor will work with adults, older adults, and adolescents dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. A central focus of our practice is to empower clients through understanding and education, equipping them with the skills needed to manage their mental health effectively.

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.
• Possession of a valid and unrestricted license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated experience in a mental health counseling role, showcasing a solid understanding of therapeutic practices and interventions.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities to articulate thoughts clearly and effectively to clients and colleagues.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills characterized by empathy, active listening, and a supportive demeanor.

• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a mental health setting, facilitating a holistic approach to client care.
• Knowledge of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or similar methodologies.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms to ensure efficient documentation and client engagement.

Freedom Psychotherapy Services offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 101,000, commensurate with experience and productivity.
