• Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments to understand clients’ psychosocial needs, focusing on emotional, mental, and social factors that affect their recovery journey.
• Develop, implement, and monitor customized treatment plans that align with clients' unique recovery goals and preferences.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices to foster healing and personal growth.
• Facilitate open lines of communication with clients and their families, ensuring clarity and understanding regarding treatment processes and encouraging family involvement in recovery.
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to local and national resources, including addiction support groups, medical care, and community services.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and substance abuse counselors, to create a cohesive treatment approach.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, policies, and regulations to ensure that all interventions comply with ethical standards and laws.

You will primarily work with adults experiencing substance use disorders, including those in various stages of detoxification. Understanding the complexities of addiction and the underlying psychological factors is crucial in providing effective support. You will address a wide range of individual needs, ensuring that each client receives compassionate care tailored to their experiences.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, with a focus on clinical practice.
• Must hold a current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience, particularly in substance use or mental health settings, is essential.
• Strong knowledge of social work theories, community resources, and techniques relevant to substance use recovery.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration among team members and with clients.
• Empathy and compassion are essential traits for building trust and rapport with clients during vulnerable moments.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth technology is preferred.

• Experience working in detox centers or similar treatment environments focused on addiction recovery.
• Training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Motivational Interviewing.
• Experience with crisis intervention techniques and methods to de-escalate high-stress situations.
