This remote role allows Counselors to work from the comfort of their homes while being part of an inclusive and supportive team. You will engage with a network of healthcare professionals committed to providing integrated, patient-centered care for students across various school settings. This position includes the flexibility of scheduling sessions during evenings or weekends to meet the needs of your clients, all while adhering to your work-life balance.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings of clients to evaluate their mental health status and identify immediate needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' unique challenges, ensuring alignment with their goals and objectives for improved outcomes.
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions including individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices that encourage personal growth and resilience.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including school psychologists, social workers, and educational professionals to foster an integrated approach to mental health care.
• Educate and involve clients' families in the counseling process, providing resources and support that helps them understand their loved ones' needs and enhance recovery efforts.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements relevant to mental health practice.

This role primarily serves school-aged children and adolescents who may be dealing with a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. By addressing these concerns, you will play an essential role in promoting their emotional well-being and academic success.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, though a master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related area is preferred.
• At least 2 years of specialized experience in mental health counseling, emphasizing knowledge of developmental issues and therapeutic techniques relevant to school-aged clients.
• A strong grasp of evidence-based practices pertaining to various mental health disorders and effective therapeutic strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and families while exhibiting strong motivational interviewing and active listening skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating seamless collaboration with other professionals and clear documentation.

• Experience working with children and adolescents within educational contexts.
• Familiarity with virtual therapy tools and platforms to deliver effective counseling remotely.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary treatment teams, demonstrating collaborative problem-solving and integrated care approaches.
• Experience with cultural competence in addressing the diverse backgrounds and needs of clients within a school environment.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $104,000, contingent on your qualifications and experience.
