• Conduct video sessions with clients, employing therapeutic techniques to facilitate discussions surrounding emotional and mental health issues.
• Encourage clients to articulate their feelings, exploring emotions and life experiences that contribute to their well-being.
• Utilize a solution-focused approach to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving client-identified goals.
• Assess client needs through active listening, observation, and clinically-relevant testing, offering insights and guidance.
• Document progress and maintain client records accurately while minimizing administrative responsibilities, enabling more time to focus on client care.

This position involves working primarily with low-acuity, stable clients who have been carefully screened to ensure they are suitable for remote counseling. This demographic may include individuals experiencing everyday stressors, anxiety, mild depression, or other mental health concerns who seek to improve their quality of life through professional support. Your guidance will empower them to take proactive steps toward managing their mental health.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• You must hold a full, unrestricted license to practice independently as any of the following:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No provisional or limited licenses, and no disciplinary actions on your record.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic disposition are essential for building rapport with clients.
• Proficiency in computer usage and comfort with telehealth technology.

• Experience providing therapy in a virtual setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and teletherapy methodologies.
• A background in working with diverse populations and understanding the unique challenges they may face.

Brightside Haven Counseling offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, based on the number of hours worked. Compensation is paid through direct deposit on a weekly basis. Full-time counselors also receive a monthly healthcare stipend to support their well-being.
