Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients’ mental health needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating clients’ goals and preferences.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities that align with best practices.
• Monitor client progress regularly, assessing the effectiveness of treatment plans and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal care.
• Document client interactions and treatment progress meticulously to meet legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and various mental health disorders. This role requires a nuanced understanding of the unique challenges that different demographics may experience, allowing you to tailor interventions effectively. You will be instrumental in empowering clients to break down barriers to mental health and guiding them in their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required.
• Active state licensure as a mental health therapist, specifically as one of the following:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
• Minimum two years of experience in providing therapy and counseling services.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills to enhance client rapport.
• Ability to work independently while also being an integral part of a coordinated team.
• Familiar with evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions relevant to mental health treatment.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in a remote capacity is an asset, as it equips counselors with the skills necessary to engage effectively with clients through telehealth platforms. Familiarity with digital health record systems and virtual therapeutic tools will be beneficial. Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
