Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of students' psychosocial needs through assessments that consider emotional, mental, and social factors.

• Providing direct counseling and emotional support to students, assisting them in navigating life challenges such as academic stress, family dynamics, and interpersonal relationships.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse student population within the school system. You will serve elementary through high school-aged children and adolescents, addressing various psychological and social challenges, including bullying, behavioral issues, academic stress, and familial changes. Your interventions will aim to foster resilience and personal growth among students, ensuring they develop healthy coping strategies and maintain robust support networks.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
• At least two years of hands-on experience in a social work setting, preferably working with school-aged children or adolescents.
• A strong understanding of social work principles, developmental stages in youth, and resources available to support students' mental health.

Compensation and Benefits
