Job description

We create possibilities that move life and commerce forward
Welcome to Manhattan. Every day, our supply chain commerce technology connects two billion people to 20 billion consumer choices. In the warehouse, on the road and in the store, we make what was once impossible, possible. If you want to tackle complex problems and redefine markets, you've come to the right place.
Overview
At Manhattan, events aren't just gatherings, they're growth engines. As our Sr. Event Manager, Demand & Registration, you will own the strategy and execution that fills our events with the right audiences: the customers, prospects, partners, and executives who matter most. This is not a traditional event logistics role. You will operate at the intersection of event marketing, demand generation, customer marketing, and sales activation, turning interest into registrations and registrations into pipeline, retention, and expansion. If you're energized by data, obsessed with the attendee journey, and thrive in a fast-moving environment, this role was built for you
A Day in the Life
  • Develop and execute integrated demand generation strategies across digital channels to drive event registration for Manhattan's full portfolio, from large-scale tradeshows and customer conferences to executive VIP experiences, field events, and virtual and hybrid programs.
  • Own the end-to-end registration strategy and experience: platform configuration, attendee communications, confirmation flows, waitlists, and post-event follow-up sequences.
  • Partner with Marketing, Demand Gen, and Field teams to align event registration campaigns with pipeline goals, audience segments, and outbound motions.
  • Partner with revenue teams to activate account-based registration motions for target accounts, open opportunities, strategic customers, and executive audiences.
  • Build, manage, and optimize audience acquisition plans by segment, persona, account tier, region, industry, and customer/prospect status, ensuring the right people are invited to the right events at the right time.
  • Set clear registration goals, pacing models, and conversion benchmarks, and track performance weekly across registration volume, source, conversion rates, attendance and no-show rates, account coverage, customer/prospect mix, and pipeline influence, diagnosing gaps and acting on them.
  • Manage registration technology platforms (e.g., Cvent, Splash, Bizzabo, or similar), ensuring integrations with CRM and MAP systems are accurate and automated.
  • Collaborate with the broader events team on attendee journey design, ensuring pre-event communications are compelling, on-brand, and strategically timed.
  • Create Sales and Customer Success activation plans that drive attendance from priority customers, prospects, and executives, including target account lists, outreach templates, registration trackers, and clear accountability around registration goals.
  • Continuously test, learn, and improve: A/B test subject lines, landing pages, invite sequences, and registration flows, and experiment with new demand levers such as intent-based targeting, paid retargeting, speaker-led promotion, partner amplification, and referral motions.
  • Use AI and automation to move faster: personalize outreach at scale, test messaging, accelerate campaign production, and optimize conversion.
  • Deliver post-event performance readouts that connect registration and attendance to pipeline, retention, and expansion outcomes.

What Success Looks Like
Success in this role is measured by registration goal attainment and show-rate performance, growth in target customer and prospect participation, executive and strategic account attendance, event-sourced and event-influenced pipeline, and customer engagement, retention, and expansion impact.
What You Bring
  • 8+ years of experience in event marketing, demand generation, field marketing, or audience acquisition, ideally within enterprise technology or B2B environments.
  • Proven success driving measurable registration, attendance, and pipeline outcomes for events spanning large conferences, customer summits, VIP programs, and virtual/hybrid formats.
  • Deep hands-on experience with event registration platforms (Cvent, Splash, Bizzabo, or equivalent) and marketing automation tools (Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua, or similar).
  • Strong analytical mindset, comfortable in dashboards, pulling reports, and using data to diagnose performance and optimize campaigns.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and events simultaneously under tight timelines.
  • Sharp communicator who can write compelling event copy and partner effectively across Marketing, Sales, and Events teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and experience ensuring event data hygiene.
  • An AI-forward mindset, with curiosity about using AI for personalization, campaign execution, reporting, and process efficiency.
  • Familiarity with ABM, intent data, and paid digital motions (6sense, Demandbase, or similar) a plus.
  • Experience in supply chain, retail, omnichannel commerce, or adjacent enterprise software a plus.

Why Join Manhattan?
• Competitive Rewards: Market-leading pay, comprehensive health coverage, and a 401(k) with 50% match up to 6% from day one.
