For the Jr. Digital Strategist role at S+G, we are looking for someone with 1+ years of experience and knowledge in SEM / PPC for paid search and social platforms, digital marketing, tracking and reporting, and client communication. We also want someone who is up for the challenges and opportunities that come with working for a scaleup, growth company.


Schedule: Full time

Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000 annually (dependent on experience), with eligibility for quarterly team profit share 

Office Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (remote first)

Daily Responsibilities: 

  • Working on ad platforms including Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Amazon Ads, Google Ads and Google Analytics to set up, understand and improve performance for our clients.
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for our clients to discuss account performance, new ideas and next steps that need to be taken.
  • Completing SEO specialist work that involves optimizing websites to rank higher in search engine results, driving organic traffic, and improving online visibility through techniques like keyword research, content creation, and link building.
  • Developing positive relationships that reflect true partnership in achieving the objectives of the client’s business.
  • Pulling data from analytics platforms and/or CRMs, (including Google Analytics, SalesForce, HubSpot, etc).
  • Collaborating with our Digital Designers to develop creative ads that speak to the clients' brand and audience.
  • Help to grow startups, scaleups and enterprise clients through clever and strategic digital marketing.
  • Anticipate any potential issues for our clients and share these with the team.


What We’re Looking For: 

  • Co-op or relevant work experience with paid and search ad platforms (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc).
  • Adaptability with a desire to learn and develop your skills.
  • Drive to continuously grow our S+G client roster and team.
  • The ability to time-manage and collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Working within deadlines with a continued emphasis on project detail.
  • An analytical mindset showing accuracy and proficiency with numbers and data, with an ability to build reports and present findings.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools and a genuine curiosity about applying them to marketing workflows
  • Strong communication skills both internally and client facing with a friendly demeanour.
  • Confidence in your work, especially during client interactions.
  • The ability to accept constructive feedback and apply changes where required.
  • Critical thinking skills with the capacity to develop unique approaches to problems and projects.


It’s a bonus if you…

  • Have experience with DataStudio/LookerStudio/BigQuery
  • Are familiar with task management/Gantt chart software (e.g. Asana, Monday.com)
  • Are creative and curious with experience in copywriting
  • Can manage landing page optimization and testing
  • Have experience with SEO technical implementation
