This full-time position allows you to provide high-quality virtual counseling services to individuals in need, all from the comfort of your own home. This position is designed for remote work, allowing for flexibility in your schedule while maintaining a structured workday from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. As a remote therapist, you will utilize telehealth technology to engage with clients, requiring strong digital communication skills and adaptability to various electronic health record systems. As a licensed mental health counselor at Nurturing Connections, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting virtual sessions with clients to provide support for various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Facilitating assessment processes to evaluate client needs and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment strategies that are evidence-based and designed to foster personal growth.
• Utilizing therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices to empower clients.
• Assisting clients in setting realistic and attainable goals while tracking progress and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Documenting client interactions and maintaining accurate electronic health records in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Participating in regular team meetings and supervision sessions to discuss client cases and receive feedback on therapeutic techniques.

Your work will focus on a diverse population of clients in Hinesville and surrounding areas, ranging from children and adolescents to adults facing varying mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through their mental health journeys, helping them discover their strengths and develop coping strategies that lead to positive outcomes.

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working directly with clients in a counseling capacity.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to foster a trusting therapeutic environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) software is advantageous, enhancing efficiency in client management.

While not required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following areas:

• Working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or families.
• Implementing various therapeutic modalities and interventions to address a wide range of mental health concerns.
• Diverse cultural competency, enabling effective engagement with clients from various backgrounds.
