Special Education Paraprofessional or RBT / ABA 

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Special Education Paraprofessional or expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing direct behavioral support and educational assistance to children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The successful candidate will work closely with licensed behavior analysts, educators, and families to implement individualized care plans, deliver evidence-based interventions, and promote meaningful progress in clients' developmental and behavioral goals. Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols and support plans under the supervision of licensed behavior analysts
  • Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, and other self-care tasks

Experience

  • Prior experience working directly with children in educational or behavioral health settings is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and implementation of ABA therapy protocols
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder
  • Familiarity with data collection methods for behavioral data collection and analysis
  • Home-based behavioral experience is advantageous but not required
  • Understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance
