Job Profile
Job Summary
The Radiologic technologist (x-ray technologist or radiographer) is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of all x-ray equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes.
Minimum Qualification
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program; Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required; Valid MRT license by Texas Medical Board (TMB) required; Current CPR certification. .
High School Diploma or GED.
Special Requirements:
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing/Composing Reports
Analytical, CRT, and Medical Terms
Work Schedule: Flexible
Equipment Operated:
Ionizing Radiation equipment, image processing equipment, and other related clinical equipment
