Job description

Radiologic CT Technologist

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will help Radiologists produce diagnostic images so they can accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Every day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations. You will be expected to independently perform CT and radiographic procedures at a technical level, ensure all CT and radiographic images are of diagnostic quality, and follow every step for taking an x-ray and CT scan (two patient identifier, gel in/gel out, etc.).

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses, while also utilizing good radiation safety practices (ALARA) for patients, self and others, and taking all precautions necessary to ensure the patient's safety during procedures

Required

  • One (1) year of current experience performing CT and Radiographic procedures in an emergency room setting.
  • Graduate of a 2 year accredited school of Radiology Technology.
  • Must hold and maintain AZ DHS Bureau of Special Licensing CRT: Certified Radiologic Technologist (CT CRT) and CTCT: Certified Technologist/Computed Tomography (LIC CT)
  • Must also hold and maintain national American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (CT ARRT)
  • American Heart Association-issued Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS)

Preferred

  • Level 1 or 2 trauma center ER experience.
