What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Virtual QA, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Virtual QA (Quality Assurance) specialist, you need a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, attention to detail, and typically a degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with test management tools like Jira, Selenium, and knowledge of automation frameworks or QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are often required. Strong problem-solving, communication skills, and the ability to work independently are essential for remote collaboration and effective issue resolution.
