Seeking a Network Engineer for a long-term program supporting an IC customer in Dulles, VA. This position requires an active TS/SCI full-scope polygraph clearance.
Introduction:

The Customer's office is seeking a Network Engineer to support the continuous monitoring and coordination of engineering projects, deployment and maintenance of network systems, and troubleshooting network issues. The role also involves guiding networking engineering efforts, maintaining network topology drawings, and providing Tier-3 engineering and support for virtualization infrastructure.

1. Assist with continuous monitoring of IT systems for Customer accreditation.
2. Coordinate engineering projects and resolve technical questions or conflicts.
3. Deploy and maintain network systems.
4. Diagnose network issues and restore the network to optimal performance levels.
5. Gather performance and utilization metrics from infrastructure components.
6. Guide networking engineering efforts in hardware, software, and virtual infrastructure domains.
7. Maintain up-to-date network topology drawings.
8. Perform moderately complex network designs and upgrades.
9. Perform Tier-3 engineering and support for virtualization infrastructure.
10. Plan network configurations for integration into the network.
11. Prepare technical proposals for changes or new technologies to the network.
12. Provide system documentation to support A&A efforts.
13. Review user requests for upgrades or additions to the network.
