LVC Integration Engineer

The Opportunity:

As a Systems Engineer on our team, you'll have the chance to shape customer training and mission readiness by leading the development of the Marine Corps' Live, Virtual, and Constructive Training Environment. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you'll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like technology, acquisition, and training design. Grow your skills by merging software, hardware, and network capacity to create a persistent, networked, live, virtual, and constructive training environment for Marines that supports all-domain training solutions. You Have:

  • Experience supporting Large Scale Exercises at the MEF level

  • Experience with the Joint Exercise Life Cycle

  • Knowledge of distributed simulation protocols such as High-Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS)

  • Knowledge of virtual and constructive simulations such as VBS3, VBS4, MACE, HAVIK, MTWS, or JCATS

  • Knowledge of Joint C4I tactical systems such as Link 16, GCCS-J, or USMC C4I, including AFATDS, C2PC, CAC2S, and JADOCS

  • Knowledge of networks and networking concepts and the principles associated with creating distributed virtual and constructive environments

  • Ability to utilize network and distributed modeling and simulation tools such as Wireshark, Redsim, SIMDIS, or RTI-s

  • Ability to lead technically focused, multi-domain teams in home station training and distributed LVC exercises

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or IT and 2+ years of experience working at a training unit such asMCTOG, MCLOG, or EOTG using LVC, or 5+ years of experience working at a training unit such asMCTOG, MCLOG, or EOTG using LVC in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience using virtual machines such as VMWare, Hypervisor, or Virtual Box

  • Experience with Team Awareness Kit (TAK)

  • Experience creating virtual machines

  • Experience with JLVC, Joint Exercise Control System (JECS), JCATS, JSAF, JLOD, JDLM, or ACE-IOS software

  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems

  • Knowledge of the Marine Corps Training and Education Command, Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Center, and associated Battle Simulation Centers

  • Knowledge of the Marine Corps Synthetic Training Environment, Force Design 2030

  • SEP Certification

  • Enterprise Architect Certification

  • VMWare Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
