Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Take ownership of a diverse inventory of commercial property claims from first notice through resolution.
  • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims while ensuring compliance with policy provisions, company guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct on-site inspections of damaged properties to assess losses, document damage, gather evidence, and determine scope and cause.
  • Utilize innovative virtual inspection technology, including the ClaimXperience platform, to efficiently evaluate damages and expedite claim resolution.
  • Analyze policies, contracts, estimates, invoices, repair documentation, and other claim-related materials to determine coverage and damages.
  • Apply sound judgment to interpret policy language, identify applicable coverages, and evaluate exclusions.
  • Establish and manage claim reserves, ensuring they accurately reflect exposure throughout the life of the claim.
  • Negotiate settlements confidently within authority limits and recommend resolutions on higher-exposure claims.
  • Collaborate with contractors, consultants, engineers, forensic experts, attorneys, public adjusters, brokers, agents, and policyholders to achieve effective outcomes.
  • Proactively communicate claim status, expectations, and resolutions while delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Identify emerging exposures, recovery opportunities, and potential risks that could impact claim outcomes.
