Our firm is seeking a Project Analyst to join our growing team. This role is located in Springfield, VA

Responsibilities:

  • Support coordination of technical countermeasure projects across FPS regions, including recurring engagements related to funding, installation, sustainment, and operational readiness
  • Prepare and refine executive briefings, monthly leadership updates, weekly reporting inputs, and operational summaries for FPS and DHS leadership
  • Assist in planning, coordination, and documentation for Counter-UAS (C-UAS) demonstrations, deployments, and operational support activities
  • Develop and update operational documents, including SOPs, CONOPS, validation/testing guidance, and program support documentation
  • Coordinate with regional staff, headquarters personnel, and interagency stakeholders to support implementation of technical countermeasure initiatives and operational priorities
  • Support compliance and regulatory implementation efforts associated with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), and related federal requirements
  • Assist with development and review of operational documentation, Statements of Work (SOWs), compliance checklists, and interagency coordination materials to support program execution
  • Support drafting and coordination of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and interagency agreements related to courthouse security and technical countermeasure operations
  • Support staffing, onboarding, and workforce coordination efforts for CMOD personnel, including tracking hiring actions and regional staffing activities
  • Participate in operational readiness reviews, procurement coordination activities, and technical program support efforts for national countermeasure systems and related security initiatives

Your impact will include:

  • Supporting federal client engagements focused on operational coordination, technical security programs, and organizational priorities
  • Providing project management and analytical support to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of client solutions and operational initiatives
  • Coordinating with headquarters personnel, regional stakeholders, and interagency partners to support program execution and issue resolution
  • Developing executive briefings, reports, operational documentation, and client deliverables that support leadership decision-making
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative research and analysis to support evolving client requirements and operational priorities
  • Leading stakeholder engagement efforts through communication, facilitation, coordination, and meeting support
  • Applying Toffler Associates methodologies and structured problem-solving approaches to organize findings and support client objectives
  • Supporting initiatives involving technical operations, compliance activities, operational planning, and emerging security capabilities

You'll arrive equipped with:

  • At least 6 years of experience in leading operational analysis, business improvement, management consulting, project management, homeland security, federal operations support, or related environments
  • BA or BS degree is required. BA or BS degree discipline in business, operations research, organizational assessment is preferred - other degrees can be considered if experience demonstrates capability.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of operational data and map business processes.
  • Ability to assess current operations and recommend process and technology improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively with a group or independently.
  • Ability to effectively manage several projects at one time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail, strategic thinking, and organized work habits
  • Must reside in and be willing to commute regularly within the Washington, DC metropolitan area; hybrid work environment anticipated, including on-site and virtual support
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or higher-level security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Service, or other federal civilian agencies
  • Familiarity with technical security programs, operational coordination, compliance activities, or interagency environments
  • Experience supporting emerging technology initiatives, operational modernization efforts, or technical program implementation
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Data Analytics, or operational reporting tools is a plus
