Tier 3 Citrix / EUC Engineer

Location: Hermitage, PA (Hybrid)

Duration: 3 Months with possible extension

Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior/Tier 3 Citrix & EUC Engineer with strong expertise in Citrix, Windows Desktop Engineering, Group Policy (GPO), and Microsoft Intune. This role is not limited to Citrix administration it requires a well-rounded engineer capable of handling advanced end-user computing challenges and contributing to enterprise endpoint engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 3 engineering and support for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops / Citrix DaaS environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues involving Citrix VDA, ICA/HDX, Workspace, Policies, profiles, printing, and session performance.
  • Design, manage, and troubleshoot Active Directory GPOs, including inheritance, conflicts, and Citrix-related configurations.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Intune (device configuration, compliance, app deployment, Windows Autopilot).
  • Perform Windows 10/11 desktop engineering: imaging, patching, optimization, compatibility, and troubleshooting.
  • Support FSLogix, Citrix Profile Management, Active Directory, Entra ID, and hybrid-joined devices.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis, resolve recurring issues, and produce technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and Service Desk teams on escalations and engineering projects.

Must-Have Skills

  • 7+ years of Citrix / EUC / Desktop Engineering experience.
  • Strong Tier 3 Citrix troubleshooting and administration skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops / Citrix DaaS.
  • Advanced GPO / Active Directory administration.
  • Hands-on Microsoft Intune expertise.
  • Strong Windows 10/11 Desktop Engineering background.
  • Experience with FSLogix / Citrix Profile Management.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and Windows troubleshooting.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Citrix certification (CCA-V/CCP-V or equivalent).
  • Microsoft Endpoint/Intune certification.
  • Experience with SCCM/MECM.
  • Knowledge of Citrix WEM and/or NetScaler/ADC.
  • VMware or other virtualization experience.
  • Application packaging (MSI/MSIX).
  • Azure / Microsoft Entra ID experience.
