Job Description:
The Clinic Care Technician is primarily responsible for providing assistance with daily patient flow in the clinic setting. These duties may include greeting and rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting in patient chart, stocking, and cleaning exam room, ordering and maintaining clinic supplies, assisting with clerical duties, and all other duties as assigned. This position may float to support other areas as assigned.

Education Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports and assists providers and clinical staff with administrative and select patient care tasks
  • Supports patient scheduling and work queue needs as assigned
  • Follows up on no-shows and works with providers to review and approve add-ons
  • Greets patients, supports virtual visits, completes identification verification, height, weight and obtains vitals
  • Chaperones exams as needed
  • Administers questionnaires and documents in electronic medical record
  • May perform limited patient care tasks based on training
  • Processes incoming mail, scans, copies, and faxes as needed, prints and updates forms, answers internal phone calls, and may place office supply orders

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to follow direction and perform tasks within scope of role
  • Experience in healthcare or patient care experience
  • Experience using electronic medical record
  • Medical terminology
