PRN RN Operating Room Circulator

Advanced Surgery Center of Sarasota is hiring a Per Diem Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse

Advanced Surgery Center of Sarasota is a busy, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center, performing outpatient procedures in orthopedics, spine, pain and podiatry. Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) at Advanced Surgery Center of Sarasota. The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: orthopedics, spine, pain and podiatry.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Active RN license in the state
  • BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Required Experience
  • Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing.
  • Experience in surgery.
  • Current Florida RN License
  • BLS, ACLS and PALS required
  • CNOR preferred
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
  • Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to the operating room.
  • Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
